R&B singer Christina Milian recently updated fans on her relationship with Young Money boss Lil Wayne amid their publicized split last summer.

According to Milian, she stays in contact with Weezy F. Baby despite putting their romantic ties on ice.

“I literally was just texting him a little while ago,” she reveals on Monday’s episode of “The Meredith Vieira Show.” “We are still texting each other, checking up on each other. … We shot a video, we were perfectly fine, the chemistry was still there, it’s not gone at all. We are grown-ups about it.” (Page Six)

Wayne and Milian recently hooked up for their “Do It” music video in Miami, Florida.

Still, sources tell us they aren’t getting back together, but remain friends … so working this closely is not a problem. We’re told the chemistry will always be there. (TMZ)

A few weeks ago, Milian avoided dishing on her split from Weezy.

At last night’s launch party for Verizon’s new mobile video service, go90, Milian played coy when I asked about their relationship. “I know what’s up, he knows what’s up,” she teased. They’re set to shoot the video for “Do It” next weekend. “The song is sexy. It’s about the two of us so it’s going to be sexy,” Milian said. (E! Online)

Wayne and Milian quietly broke up in August.

A source confirms to ET that Milian has called it quits with Lil Wayne after about one year of dating. The pair broke up in late August. The former couple was first linked in July 2014, but it was just a few short months ago that Milian began gushing about her beau in interviews. (ET)
