Declaring the rumors as false, Milian denied being ordered not to speak on Dream.

“I have no idea where that rumor came from, and it’s completely a rumor,” Milian said in an interview with television host Wendy Williams. “Everything about that it is all fictitious. I’m completely allowed to speak about anything that I want to. Except the settlement, we do choose to not [publicize the details].” (“Wendy Williams Show”)

Although no longer married, Milian said she hopes she and her divorcee will remain amicable.

“I didn’t want to fight…I really want my daughter to have her father around and to have a friendship, to try to build somewhat of a friendship for my daughter, and have some kind of relationship to be able to speak to each other about her every day. I didn’t want to fight. I’m moving on.” (“Wendy Williams Show”)

Last month, published reports suggested Dream was responsible for paying monthly payments to his ex-wife.

In less than six months, the celebrity married couple went from separation to a divorce. Hit-making singer, producer and songwriter The-Dream and estranged singer/actress wife Christina Milian have reportedly agreed to a divorce settlement. The Chicago Sun Times has reported that the couple agreed to close to a $4 million divorce settlement, with the Def Jam Records star paying Milian an additional $5,000 per month. (Hip Hop DX)

Rumors of a divorce settlement processes hit the Internet in November.

Pop star Christina Milian and super-producer The Dream are one step closer to being legally single — TMZ has learned the couple has hammered out a settlement in their pending divorce. Sources close to the soon-to-be exes tell us the terms of the settlement are extremely confidential — but lawyers are expected to submit the paperwork to a Fulton County, Georgia judge in the very near future. UPDATE: Christina’s attorney Randy Kessler tells TMZ, “Ms. Milian strongly believes that peaceful resolution is better for their child and that she is very pleased with the settlement and that it was accomplished out of court.” (TMZ)
