Supermodel Chrissy Teigen doesn’t play when it comes to her fave flicks. The curvy entertainer has come forward to co-sign and rally support for must-see movie Get Out landing a Best Picture nomination at this year’s Academy Awards.

Teigen took to Twitter Tuesday (January 23) to boast about the movie and also check a user about hating on it.

The film’s director and writer Jordan Peele made sure to unload his excitement onto social media once the nods went public.

Get Out star Daniel Kaluuya has a chance to make history with a Best Actor nomination.

“Get Out” follows a young black photographer who goes with his white girlfriend to visit her parents in the country, only to discover the other people of color have had their minds taken over. Star Daniel Kaluuya is nominated for best actor. The movie, written and directed by Peele, generated $255 million worldwide off a production budget of $4.5 million for Comcast Corp.’s Universal and co-producer Blumhouse Productions, adding to the evidence that the appeal of minority-led movies is still underestimated in Hollywood. The must-see movie finds itself in an elite class of historic Best Picture nominees after taking a $5 million budget and making close to $200 million domestically.

With $175 million domestic, QC Entertainment and Blumhouse’s Get Out is the 22nd highest-grossing Best Picture nominee at the time of the nominations, below mega-hits like Jaws, Star Wars, Raiders of the Lost Ark, ET, Ghost, The Fugitive, Forrest Gump, Titanic, Saving Private Ryan, The Sixth Sense, Gladiator, Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, Return of the King, Avatar, Up, Inception, The Blind Side, Toy Story 3, Gravity and The Martian. If it happens to win, it’ll be the sixth highest-grossing winner behind Titanic ($658m in 1998), Return of the King ($377m in 2004), Forrest Gump ($330m in 1995), Gladiator ($188m in 2001) and Dances with Wolves ($184m in 1991).
