R&B singer Chris Brown‘s mom has spoken out following the publicized robbery of her son’s California home early Wednesday (July 15).
Although she did not name-drop Breezy or his aunt, Joyce Hawkins appeared to send a warning shot to someone.
The robbery went down at Breezy’s Tarzana crib a few hours ago.
Brown’s aunt was home alone at the time, heard a commotion and went to the front door, police said. The perpetrators then proceeded to rob the home. LAPD Lt. Kirk Kelley later said it was not clear how the robbers got inside the home. Unconfirmed reports indicated his aunt was locked in a closet during the robbery. Police said no one was injured during the incident. (KTLA)
Law enforcement may catch a break thanks to Breezy’s security system.
Lt. Kirk Kelley told CBS that the “recently built home … has security cameras,” which could help in the ongoing investigation. Investigators described the burglars as three armed black men with handkerchiefs over their faces. They left the scene in an unidentified vehicle. (Radar Online)
Brown recently spent over $4 million on his California home.
Brown purchased the home in May in a residential, family-orientated part of Tarzana … perhaps with his baby girl, Royalty, in mind. However, the perks make it sound like the perfect party pad. There’s a soundproof home theater with 14 recliners, 3 fire pits and a 10 car motor court. It’s got panoramic views of the city and the Santa Monica Mountains, a saltwater pool with island and waterfall, and an insane 16-camera security system … to keep out all those obsessed naked fans.
