A model who claims she suffered a gunshot wound at a 2014 nightclub party R&B singer Chris Brown hosted has taken legal action.
According to reports, model Megan Hawkins is going after a popular hot spot, which music mogul Suge Knight attended, for taking a bullet to her butt.
Megan Hawkins says 1 OAK knew Chris Brown had gang ties and also knew Suge was bad news, yet both ended up in the club without adequate security to protect patrons. Chris was hosting the event when shots rang out, hitting Suge 6 times and the model once. Hawkins says she was seriously injured and lost work, racked up medical bills and endured lots of pain and suffering. (TMZ)
Back in August 2014, Brown hopped onto his Twitter page to address the shooting.
“It’s disappointing that we as a society can’t have fun or enjoy ourselves without any altercations sometimes. Miss me with the bullsh*t!!!,” Brown tweeted August 24 night. (Chris Brown’s Twitter)
Reports claim the near-fatal shooting went down following Suge’s conversation with Brown.
“It was organized chaos, Suge was shot right after talking to Chris Brown,” described a source to Page Six. Sources close to the club tell us that around 1:35 a.m., shots rang out in the club. “People said it sounded like firecrackers,” we’re told. Another source added, “The music was on, then they shut the music off, then the music came back on because everyone thought it was fireworks. (Page Six)
According to reports, the shooting took place early August 24, 2014.
A source close to Suge tells us … he was shot in the stomach and arm. Tyson Beckford, Robert Ri’chard and Apple de Ap all tell TMZ … they were inside the pre-VMA party hosted by Chris Brown when they heard 4 shots ring out inside the club. Suge walked out on his own power … a cop spotted him and walked the rap mogul to the police car where Suge sat. Suge was then put in an ambulance and taken to a local hospital. (TMZ)
