R&B singer Chris Brown may have responded to a line off one-time music rival Drake‘s new What a Time To Be Alive album.
According to mounted speculation, Chris Breezy fired off a subliminal response shortly after the album dropped for Drizzy referencing his ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran.
On the song “Live from the Gutter,” Drizzy name-drops Chris Breezy’s ex-girlfriend.
“Soon as that night fall, that’s when we lock in/This for my n*ggas on that bullsh*t and that nonsense/This for my dogs who go Karrueche with the chopsticks/And we gon miss you” (Genius)
Back in July, Karrueche did not turn down the idea of hooking back up with Brown in the future.
“Us getting back together, I can’t say. I don’t know what the future holds. As of right now, I’m just completely focused on myself. I’m not trying to date anybody or, I just want to figure out me, grow within myself. There’s no drama between us. It’s cordial, it’s calm, peaceful. I don’t like drama, period.” (“On Air With Ryan Seacrest”)
In June, Chris fired off some shots toward Tran for discussing him in an interview.
somebody explain what drake meant by that?
