R&B singer Chris Brown has come forward to address the headline-generating drama over the weekend involving music mogul Suge Knight being shot multiple times.
Brown hopped onto his Twitter page to shoot down the widespread rumors.
“It’s disappointing that we as a society can’t have fun or enjoy ourselves without any altercations sometimes. Miss me with the bullsh*t!!!,” Brown tweeted August 24 night. (Chris Brown’s Twitter)
The latest reports claim the near-fatal incident went down following Suge’s conversation with Chris.
“It was organized chaos, Suge was shot right after talking to Chris Brown,” described a source to Page Six. Sources close to the club tell us that around 1:35 a.m., shots rang out in the club. “People said it sounded like firecrackers,” we’re told. Another source added, “The music was on, then they shut the music off, then the music came back on because everyone thought it was fireworks. (Page Six)
According to reports, the shooting took place around 1:30 AM Sunday (August 24) morning.
A source close to Suge tells us … he was shot in the stomach and arm. Tyson Beckford, Robert Ri’chard and Apple de Ap all tell TMZ … they were inside the pre-VMA party hosted by Chris Brown when they heard 4 shots ring out inside the club. Suge walked out on his own power … a cop spotted him and walked the rap mogul to the police car where Suge sat. Suge was then put in an ambulance and taken to a local hospital. (TMZ)
Knight is reportedly one of multiple civilians who suffered gunshot wounds.
We do not know the seriousness of Suge’s injuries. Multiple sources now tell us Suge was one of 3 people were were shot. At least 1 is in critical condition. Sheriff’s deputies had guns drawn as clubgoers exited with their hands in the air right after the shooting. The night started with tension. An hour-and-a-half before the shots, Game came to the club and he and his buddies got into an altercation with security guards … there was a full-on fight. (TMZ)
