Chris Brown Reacts To Slain Friend’s Murder: “S**t It Crazy”

R&B superstar Chris Brown has stepped forward to speak out following the slaying of his tattoo artist Trigz this week in California.

Breezy hopped onto his Twitter page Friday (October 10) to acknowledge his friend’s death.

Reports claim the murder went down Thursday (October 9).

According to police, Trigz got into a verbal altercation with a man outside Black Derby Smoke Shop in North Hollywood. Police say the man (described as a Hispanic male) then shot Trigz and took off … leaving Trigz to die on the scene. According to his Model Mayhem profile, Trigz worked on music videos for the likes of Mobb Deep, Travis Barker, Wiz Khalifa and Tyga. (TMZ)

Recently, Brown revealed he gained over 30 pounds during a summer jail stint.

“My normal weight is like 180,” he said. “I was 215 when I got out of jail. After that I was so conscious, I couldn’t even fit my jeans, none of my clothes. I was scared to go out, I was like ‘Man, people gonna see me, I look fat.’ So after a while, I went and played a lot of basketball, a lot of cardio. Then I did the ‘New Flame’ video, we rehearsed for that, the BET Awards, couple other shows. I was just always dancing, always dancing, trying to get my body back in shape.” (Extra TV)

The music superstar also delved into what lesson he took away from the experience.

“[It was] a humbling experience,” he said about serving time in jail. “It was definitely one of the things I’ll never forget. I think for me, it’s now about what’s the purpose and what’s the goal that Chris Brown as a person and Chris Brown as an artist is trying to portray. And with me, it’s always been positivity, but now it’s more of not just speaking it into existence but actually doing it.” (Extra TV)
