In a recent interview, Chris Brown shot down comparisons to Michael Jackson. Instead, he paid the utmost respect to the late king of pop.
In recent years, the debate over who’s the best between Michael Jackson and Chris Brown has heated up. Brown recently appeared on the radio show Big Boy’s Neighborhood and put the comparisons to rest. When asked about the constant juxtaposition, Breezy stated,
“That’s cap. My personal take on it is like I wouldn’t even be breathing or able to sing a song without this man. He is light years ahead. There is no competing with him. I got shrines of this man in my house”
On social media, fans saluted both legends and were happy that the “Iffy” singer paid respect to the Goat. On Twitter, one user identified as @Carlton_W1 agreed with the R&B superstar by tweeting:
“Chris Brown made the right response. He’s a great dancer but he’s no Michael Jackson.”
Another user on Twitter called out people that feel the younger singer is better. He tweeted:
“Mfs was on Facebook going soooo hard about Chris Brown being better than it more talented than Michael Jackson… just for Chris Brown himself to say he’s not lol that’s why y’all need to shut tf up all that wasted energy”.
