Chicago rapper Chief Keef is reportedly ready to wage war against Mayor Rahm Emanuel following an alleged banned performance last week.
According to reports, the Windy City rapper will put together a secret hologram performance previously nixed for the death of an infant earlier this month and broadcast it Saturday, July 25.

According to reports, Mayor Emanuel’s office bashed Keef’s nixed concert last weekend.
Keef’s music “promotes violence” and poses “a significant public safety risk,” Emanuel’s office said Saturday. The rapper couldn’t even attend the show in person, instead opting to perform via hologram, because of outstanding warrants for his arrest. (NY Daily News)
According to reports, Keef’s manager said the concert came to a sudden halt over some backlash last week.
In an emailed statement, event organizer Alki David alluded to interference from the Rev. Michael Pfleger, pastor at St. Sabina Catholic Church on Chicago’s South Side: “The meddling, attention seeking Father Pfleger, who bullied the owner of the downtown theater to back out of his contract, will not succeed. He is exploiting this tragedy and taking money away from the victims and solid charities who are doing good work in Chicago.” (Chicago Tribune)
Chi-Town’s Father Michael Pfleger took aim at Keef on Facebook last week and blamed him for encouraging violence through music.
