Chicago’s DJ Timbuck2 has reportedly passed away this weekend after fighting a bout with cancer.
Reports of Tim’s death surfaced across social media Saturday (December 19).

According to reports, Tim broke out onto the mainstream back in 2004.
DJ Timbuck2 was a mix show DJ and on-air personality with 107.5 WGCI Chicago, where he was brought on in 2004 at the age of 21. His mission was to help change the sound of Chicago radio, often hosting mixtapes for talent he believes in. He was the youngest DJ and on the station’s roster and earned his spot in the Heavy Hitters, which was an illustrious worldwide DJ crew. (Complex)
