Chevy Woods Tells Us His Fave Place To Perform: "The [United] States Is Kind Of Spoiled"

[After tearing down the stage last month at Wiz Khalifa and A$AP Rocky’s O2 Arena concert in London, Taylor Gang’s Chevy Woods talks to SOHH about his favorite places to perform.]

That’s funny because London is [my] second [favorite place to perform]. London is second. I couldn’t wait to get over here. Toronto, Canada is first.

I feel like it’s kind of the same thing. It makes me feel good that people appreciate it. Like I said before, the [United] States is kind of spoiled because your favorite artist is always touring, they’re always doing shows, club venues, where you can see and touch them.

But over here and in Canada, Toronto, they don’t get it too often. When you hear it and you see it, I don’t like to talk like a star or superstar perspective, because I’m still a fan of everybody, but when people see it, they appreciate it.

Like for me, I had a 15-minute set I felt like they appreciated the whole 15 minutes. Wiz [Khalifa] has an hour and 10 minutes or something like that and they appreciate it. [A$AP] Rocky, they appreciate it.

It’s just like in Canada, they appreciate music because they’re not spoiled with it.
