Chicago’s Chance The Rapper has immediately come forward to clear the air after getting a major shout-out from President Donald Trump. Less than 48 hours after the Chi-Town legend defended Kanye West‘s pro-Trump stance, he’s issued a must-read apology.
Chance initially hopped on Twitter to respond to Trump name-dropping him in an agenda-driven tweet.
Nah that aint it yo https://t.co/hqA1NYGxE2

Kanye West has performed a great service to the Black Community – Big things are happening and eyes are being opened for the first time in Decades – Legacy Stuff! Thank you also to Chance and Dr. Darrell Scott, they really get it (lowest Black & Hispanic unemployment in history).

After the Trump co-sign, Chance took things a step further by clearing up the drama his Kanye support has created.

Earlier in the week, Chance raised eyebrows after coming to Ye’s defense over his publicized love for the head of state.
I wonder if @kanyewest has caught up with @chancetherapper @gherbo @lildurk on his hometown of Chicago??@kanyewest have you talked to @common ?
On a larger scale have you connected with @Akon in Africa?

Talked to him two days ago. He’s in a great space and not affected by folk tryna question his mental or physical health. Same Ye from the Vmas, same Ye from the telethon. https://t.co/2zY3KpllV2

This week, Donald went to the social media giant to shout out Yeezy for showing him some major props.
Thank you Kanye, very cool! https://t.co/vRIC87M21X

You don't have to agree with trump but the mob can't make me not love him. We are both dragon energy. He is my brother. I love everyone. I don't agree with everything anyone does. That's what makes us individuals. And we have the right to independent thought.
