Chicago’s Chance The Rapper came through as expected for his highly-anticipated “Saturday Night Live” performance last night (December 12).
During his slated appearance, Chance treated viewers to a couple songs.
During his performance of his new song “Somewhere in Paradise,” he pulled off some great dance moves and even brought out Jeremih. For “Sunday Candy,” he hinted that another mixtape is on the way: “Then the third tape slide down the chimney.” He also made a reference to Chicago police officer Jason Van Dyke, who was charged with the first degree murder of 17-year-old Laquan McDonald. A couple days ago, Chance teased fans about his “SNL” set on Instagram.

Recently, Chance talked about not caving into signing a major label deal.
Selling music doesn’t make that much money,” he explains. “On a touring guarantee, you’re going to make on one show about as much as a person made on their [album] yearlies—if they sold a million copies the first week and are still selling copies, which doesn’t even happen.” (Chicago Mag)
