Chicago’s Chance The Rapper isn’t here for the name-dragging. The hip-hop artist has come forward to speak out on getting blasted by monster production group J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League.
Chance went to Twitter Saturday (July 15) and came clean on giving JL an ultimatum on how they could get some owed money.
Hours prior, J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League went on a Twitter tear against Chance apparently over his support for free music service Soundcloud.
Yesterday, Chance hopped on Twitter with a cryptic message about Soundcloud sticking around.
Earlier this week, buzz developed about Soundcloud laying off a grip of employees.
A tense scene unfolded yesterday as user-generated, music-streaming service SoundCloud held an all-hands meeting to explain to employees why it suddenly had to lay off 40 percent of its staff last week. Exiting team members wanted to know why they weren’t warned, while those who survived the cuts wanted assurance that the cost reductions would keep the company afloat for the long-run. (Tech Crunch)
