Grammy-winning rapper Lil Wayne is fully behind Drake’s OVO Sound movement. Lil Tunechi has displayed his support for Drizzy’s growing brand this week.
Drake posted up a picture last night (September 1) of Wayne rocking an OVO Sound hoody.
Last month, Wayne and Drake performed together at a Summer Sixteen Tour stop.
Recently, Wayne talked about Drake’s placement in his Young Money artist roster.
“I have this cat from Canada. His name is Drake. I have a female. Her name is Nicki Minaj. She has a cool body and she’s been in a movie or two. I’m not sure if you guys have heard of her, but I think it’s gonna work with her too. I got Cory Gunz, Jae Millz. Other than that, you got me, Hoody and Gudda Gudda in a group called L.A.T. that’s Loyalty Amongst Thieves. And then you got a beautiful woman by the name of Stephanie [Acevedo]. Last month, Cash Money boss Baby addressed his situation with Wayne and vowed to fix their situation.
“Um, I’ma heal that,” Birdman said when asked how he currently felt about his relationship with Lil Wayne. “That’s still my son. I don’t like how a lot of this sh*t went down. That’s not like a lot of sh*t that we have said. But, um, at the end of the day, I will never in my life say nothing negative about him – I won’t finish the game without Wayne.”
