New York rapper Cardi B wants to make sure fans know she didn’t mean any harm with her new “Girls” single. The Bronx native has addressed the backlash coming her way from the sensual song’s content.

Cardi went to Twitter Tuesday (May 15) and spoke on the release’s aftermath.

Yesterday, “Girls” collaborator Rita Ora apologized for their song sparking some negative reactions.

Last week, fellow musician Kehlani shared her issues with the “Girls” single’s content.

Singer Hayley Kiyoko also went to Twitter last week to explain her “Girls” problem.
