New York rapper Cardi B is much more than disgusted with the idea of teachers getting guns to defend their classrooms. The hip-hop diva has come forward to share her issues with President Donald Trump‘s support for gun-holding professors.

Cardi went to Instagram Thursday (February 22) and unloaded frustrations with the head of state.

This week, President Trump shared his support for the idea of teachers strapping up in the classroom.

Teachers carrying a concealed gun could end attacks “very quickly”, he said. Mr Trump floated the proposal – long-championed by the powerful NRA gun lobby – as emotional survivors of the 14 February massacre urged him to take measures to stop similar attacks. The US leader called for improved background checks on gun buyers. “It’s not going to be talk like it’s been in the past,” he said. (BBC)

The president went a step further Thursday (February 22) by suggesting a monetary benefit for teachers getting gun training.

“These people are cowards. They’re not going to walk into a school if 20% of the teachers have guns — it may be 10% or may be 40%. And what I’d recommend doing is the people that do carry, we give them a bonus. We give them a little bit of a bonus,” Trump said. “They’ll frankly feel more comfortable having the gun anyway. But you give them a little bit of a bonus.” (CNN)
