New York rapper Cardi B might not pull the trigger on her long-awaited debut album’s October release. The hip-hop diva has fallen back off initial plans to have the project drop by Halloween.
In a new “The Breakfast Club” interview, Cardi said her album might not arrive next month.
“I wanted to drop next month. Every single time I think I got all the 10 songs it’s like, I’m buggin. These ain’t it. It’s just like, ‘D*mn I’m competing with myself. I’m competing with the godd*mn number two record and stuff.’” (“The Breakfast Club”)
This past weekend, B reacted to music icon Janet Jackson saluting her “Bodak Yellow” smash.

Recently, Migos’ Quavo revealed fans could look forward to B landing on his group’s upcoming Culture II.
“I don’t know nothing about all that,” Quavo said when asked if Cardi B helped break the mold for reality TV stars to make hits. “Just chilling. Having fun. Culture II. She’s gonna be on Culture II.” (TMZ)
