Cardi B Explains Why She (Temporarily) Ditched Twitter & Reveals NY Hiatus: “Ya Motherf*ckers Better Love This Album”

New York rapper Cardi B is pouring her heart into her upcoming studio album. The hip-hop diva has shared a few major updates surrounding the project and how much blood, sweat and tears she’s put into it.

This week, Cardi went to Twitter to dish out how negativity forced her social media hiatus and revealed how long she’s been away from the Big Apple.

Last week, Cardi rap rival Azealia Banks flamed her over a pregnancy rumor.

A few days ago, rumors claimed Cardi could deliver her alleged baby by this summer.

Sources close to Cardi B tell TMZ … the rapper’s due the first week of July and will be close to 7 months pregnant with Offset’s kiddo when she takes the stage next month at Coachella. Our sources say Cardi plans to remain in work mode until she pops. For example, we’re told she’s spent the last 2 weeks buried in the studio to complete her debut album. She also fully intends to go on tour with Bruno Mars in September … a whopping 2 months after giving birth to her first child. (TMZ)
