The “WAP” rapper took to Twitter Tuesday to tweet her thanks for being on the remix of “Shake It” by rapper Kay Flock.  She gave a special shoutout to her collaborators and to the Bronx drill rap movement.

The superstar rapper tweeted: “#51 on the Billboard Hot 100! Thank you all but I really want to celebrate Kay Flock, Dougie and Bory today! Congrats to Dougie and Bory on your first billboard entry and thank you Kay F for having me on the remix! A Bronx Drill song charting on the Hot 100? HUGE. See y’all soon.”

The Bronx, New York native actually directed the music video, and it was her first time ever doing so.

Cardi B Wants Victims Of Sexual Assault To Speak Out

Meanwhile, the sexually outspoken chart-topper jumped on Twitter again to raise awareness for Sexual Assualt Awarness Month, an issue showing up more and more in Hip-Hop today with accusations against Snoop Dogg, Chris Brown and Trey Songz.  (Snoop Dogg was recently vindicated of false allegations made against him by an unnamed accuser.)

“Before April is over, don’t forget it’s sexual assault awareness month,” Cardi wrote. “no means no! It doesn’t matter what you wear, it doesn’t matter who you are, male or female. For anyone going through this, the shame is not yours to carry… it’s the monsters who do this. #SAAM2022.”

The mom of four-year-old Kulture and newborn, Wave, continued in another tweet, warning parents to be careful watching their children.

“Also parents we can’t forget our children. There are sick people everywhere, daycare, schools, you name it. Make sure you teach them from an early age, no one is to touch your private parts & never be afraid to tell mommy & daddy when someone makes you uncomfortable. #SAAM2022.”

The outspoken rapper used her voice to encourage victims to speak out.

“It’s ok to speak up! We have to be more careful in protecting ourselves and our children by teaching them that there are no secrets when it comes to mommy and daddy. Everyday I pray for my children, my family, and my friends because people are really sick but you wanna know something? When one person speaks up it helps others see they are not alone. #SAAM2022.”
