New York rapper Cardi B is having a rough weekend. The hip-hop star is grabbing the Internet’s attention after blasting a New York State hotel for kicking her out.
Cardi hit up Instagram Sunday (October 22) and did not hold back on her issues with the Hilton Albany hotel.
“The floor that I was staying in in my hotel room, it smelled like weed. So the cops came in the middle of the night, knocking on my manager and on my door, talking about that we were smoking weed and we gotta get kicked out. Now, if you know me, I don’t even talk about smoking weed because everybody knows that I do not smoke weed. I get very paranoid and none of my team members smoke weed. If they was to kick us out for something else, aight, but for weed? I’m not taking that because we do not smoke. I could get, we could all get drug-tested, nobody smokes. Nobody smokes, especially when I’m sleeping and I’m wild sick.”

A local law enforcement spokesperson has since addressed the situation.
11:25 AM PT — A rep for Albany PD tells TMZ … the hotel’s manager called cops around 1 AM to report a party on the 2nd floor, plus a smell of weed. We’re told hotel staff had gone up and asked Cardi’s team to leave, and when cops showed, they were packing their bags to exit. However, the PIO says no evidence pointed to the weed coming from anyone in Cardi’s camp, but they left regardless. That’s when Cardi was woken up and asked to join them, causing her outburst in the lobby. We’re told no one was arrested, and that Albany PD denies allegations of racism. (TMZ)
