After several years of mixtapes, viral social media videos on platforms such as Vine, and a handful of performances, Cardi’s net worth was around $600,000. That figure was counted in early 2017, and last July was when she released hit single “Bodak Yellow”. The song rose to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 and was streamed over 300,000,000 times just on Spotify. There’s no doubt that had something to do with her new earnings, which total around $4 million as of April. This figure will certainly rise with her album out, and the Blood (Cardi revealed she’s been a member of the gang since the age of 16) will soon enough be hip-hop’s cash queen.
