According to reports, Cam’ron, Juelz Santana, Jim Jones and Freekey Zekey will all be in town to celebrate the ten-year annivesary of their first group compilation album, Diplomatic Immunity.

This coming March, The Diplomats’ street classic Diplomatic Immunity album will hit the ten year mark. To celebrate, Cam’Ron, Jim Jones, Juelz Santana, and Freekey Zekey team up with InFlexWeTrust for a special one-night only concert. Mainly back the soulful sampled sounds of production team The Heatmakerz, the double-disc LP sold 500,000 units officially making the cult-favorite a platinum album. Could we see appearances from Master P, DMX, or Freeway? Will the crew debut a new song? We’ll all find out when the show goes down on Monday, March 25 at B.B. Kings in New York City. Tickets are available for purchase now. (Miss Info TV)

A few days ago, Santana took full responsiblity for delaying Dipset album-making efforts.

So while the group still seems fractured, Elz says that things are moving in the right direction and fans shouldn’t close the door on the group’s long-awaited Diplomatic Immunity 3 album. “I wasn’t doing music for me, so I couldn’t sit down and agree to do a Diplomat album. I didn’t know what the intentions [were] — nothing, I was still in chill mode at that time,” he said. “Now I know it can get done is what I’m saying because I’m working, I know Cam is willing to do it — he’s probably working. Jim I know he’s always working doing what he’s doing.” (MTV)

Juelz echoed similar comments about the Diplomats delay earlier this month.

“Shout-out to Jim, shout-out to Cam. I’m not going to even lie, at the time, when we put out the ‘Salute’ record, it was still at the time where I wasn’t doing a lot of music, just, period. I wasn’t back in the zone that I needed to be in, musically. Honestly. It’s not even about that project. I had the same way like I took a break from everything. … I wasn’t really in my mojo to just sit down and just complete a Dipset project. We up with my man Flex, this is a new year. In order to get it right, we’ve got to make it all the way right. You dig what I’m saying? That’s why I’m saying it is possible, because I know Cam is willing to do, I’m sure Jim is willing to do it. I’ve always been willing to do it, it’s just about me getting my music mojo back.” (“Funkmaster Flex”)

Back in 2010, Dipset’s Freekey Zekey took credit in helping reunite everyone after a public falling out.

“I done grabbed up Killa, snatched up Juelz, called Jim, we all sat down and I said enough of the bullsh*t, what’s happening,” Zekey recalled to radio personality Mr. Peter Parker. “We got big money, big business, big opportunities right now and I’m not stopping until everybody sit down right here and put everything out on the table — I [was] sitting there and letting them know it was way bigger than this, what are [they] arguing over, nobody took a dirty Subway sandwich and smacked somebody’s mom’s with it…I can never give up on my family. It’s 2010, time to get it in. Dipset wins again…” (Mr. Peter Parker)
