Country music star Taylor Swift recently weighed in on all of the attention female celebrities receive over their bodies and what type of damaging impact it could have on the youth.

In Swift’s opinion, male celebs do not have the same exposure as females in the media.

“I refuse to buy into these comparisons, because you don’t see it happening to men. All you seem to see is “Which New Mother Is Sexier?” “Who’s the Hotter Mama?” “Who’s Got The Better Booty?” If we continue to show young girls that they are being compared to other girls, we’re doing ourselves a huge disservice as a society. I surround myself with smart, beautiful, passionate, driven, ambitious women. Other women who are killing it should motivate you, thrill you, challenge you and inspire you rather than threaten you and make you feel like you’re immediately being compared to them.” (TIME)

This week, rap veteran Sir Mix-A-Lot said actress Jennifer Lopez had the edge over curvy celebrity Kim Kardashian.

Yes, Mix tells us he’s been admiring Kim Kardashian’s latest cake displays — but still gives more weight to J.Lo’s experienced bubble. In fact, he says her ass inspired him to write “Baby Got Back” … after seeing it in all its Fly Girl glory on “In Living Color.” For now, Kim’s gonna have to settle for a consolation prize from Mix … who says J.Lo’s 45-year-old ass still isn’t ready to hand over the crown. Last month, music mogul Diddy also compared J. Lo’s booty to Kim Kardashian’s.

But when Billy asked if Kim’s butt is even in the same conversation—the rapper gave a pretty powerful answer. “No way,” Diddy said. “No way, no diss to Kanye [West] and Kim but that thing right there, that thing right there is something special.” (In Touch Weekly)

A couple months ago, Lopez touched on the attention Hustle Gang’s Iggy Azalea had received over her lower backside.

When asked if she feels like she’s passing on the booty torch to the Aussie rapper, she laughed and told us, “We’re in it together! It’s not about passing torches or anything.” Lopez continued, “There’s room for every artist, all types of artists, all the time. I’m not one of those people that needs to be the queen or anything like that, I just feel like I want to share my music and perform and share love with people.” (E! Online)
