New York rapper Moise Morancy found himself in a NYPD precinct this past weekend but for a reason you might not expect. The Brooklyn native received an honor from local law enforcement for performing a heroic act.
According to reports, the event went down Saturday (November 26) at the 112th NYPD Precinct.
Morancy was honored Saturday by the NYPD’s 112th precinct for protecting a young woman from an alleged sexual assault on a Queen’s bus in October. The NYPD presented Morancy with its Good Samaritan award after Morancy restrained a man who allegedly forcibly touched another passenger — a 15-year-old girl. Pablo Levano was arrested in the alleged incident. (New York Daily News)

Last month, details surfaced about Morancy’s headline-generating heroics.
“Don’t you ever do that s–t again, you hear me?” Morancy said in the video. “He was touching a little girl, and then I defended her,” Morancy told cops in the video. Police handcuffed both Morancy and the girl’s alleged assaulter, Pablo Levano, 36, before releasing Morancy from his handcuffs. “I was really just defending that 15-year-old girl. He was touching her leg. He lunged at me and said he wanted to hurt me,” Morancy can be heard saying in the video. (NY Daily News)

It's sad that rape is the most under-reported crime. All men should protect women. The convo needs to be had & justice needs to be served.
