Jerry Heller, the original manager for N.W.A., has died according to sources with AllHipHop.com. He was 75. The businessman was widely recognized as the man that helped bring the controversial group to the masses along with Eazy-E. The cause of death is not yet known. (All Hip Hop)

Earlier this year, Herller talked about former protégés Ice Cube and Dr. Dre bashing him in last year’s N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton.

“They’re saying things about me in that film that are not only not true but they’re very demeaning and degrading and now it means everybody over the world will think that about me. That’s just not true. There’s just so much more attention being brought to the movie now and I would have felt a lot better if I were portrayed honestly and Eazy was portrayed in a light he should have been. I think it was a combination of Ice Cube, Dr. Dre and the widow [of Eazy-E]. I’m very proud of the work that he did and I’m proud of the success Ice Cube has had.” (TMZ Live)
