Atlanta rapper 2 Chainz continues to remain in the headlines as reports claim he was arrested in Los Angeles Tuesday (June 11) on a felony drug possession charge.
Details of the arrest surfaced online late Tuesday evening.
2 Chainz was just arrested at LAX … after cops allegedly found weed on the “I’m Different” rapper as he was trying to board an airplane, TMZ has learned. Sources tell us … 35-year-old 2 Chainz is currently being booked for possession of marijuana after he was caught with pot in Terminal 5. Just yesterday, 2 Chainz — real name Tauheed Epps — was tweeting about how impressed he was with the weed in San Francisco. So far, cops are not commenting on the situation. (TMZ)

Recently, the rapper had drug charges dropped against him for a February crime.
Rapper 2 Chainz has been acquitted of drug charges he faced after a traffic stop on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. The Star Democrat of Easton, Md., reports ( ) that a Talbot County district court judge found the rapper, whose real name is Tauheed Epps, not guilty Wednesday. (Huffington Post)
Last year, Chainz called out New York City police for arresting him over jewelry.
“They tried to assassinate my character, they tried to assassinate my swag,” 2 Chainz told MTV News in an exclusive telephone interview. “It was just a negative dilemma earlier where someone misconstrued a piece of jewelry for a weapon and stuff. … I do exclusive pieces. My pieces are actual conversation pieces, like, literally. When you see my gold, when you see my stuff, it’s something to conversate about. People weren’t doing four-finger rings and all that.
