Louisiana rapper Boosie Badazz is finally speaking out. The hip-hop veteran has come forward to update concerned fans about his well-being following a near-death shooting in Texas and leg amputation rumors.

The Southern rap star hit up his Twitter page to put an end to speculation and rumors. Boosie made sure to let folks know both of his legs were intact.

Boosie Badazz’s Leg Isn’t Getting Amputated
A few days ago, Boosie had surgery on his leg but didn’t have it removed. Even better, Boosie soon thereafter returned home from the operation.
Sources close to Boosie tell TMZ … he did NOT get his foot amputated — contrary to reports — but he did have a couple of surgeries for his gunshot wound. Our sources say Boosie had a procedure to remove bullet fragments, and he had some screws put in to make sure his foot properly heals. Boosie has diabetes, which led to speculation about potential amputation, but we’re told the only medical decisions in relation to his diabetes had to do with his pre-surgery diet. (TMZ)
The rap star’s manager also shut down the leg amputation rumors and speculation.
On Thursday (Nov. 19), Louis Givens reposted an article to his Instagram story that suggested Boosie was getting his leg amputated. He shut down the article by writing, “Fake News” above the picture. (REVOLT TV)

According to initial reports, there’s a long road to recovery for the hip-hop star. The worst news suggested Boosie could lose his leg for good.
According to several news outlets, the 38-year-old star is having complications in the leg that he was shot in due to his diabetes. The blogs reported that the gunshot wound is not healing fast and it’s not looking good for his leg, meaning he may have to get his leg amputated. (AceShowbiz)
