Grammy-nominated Raja Kumari took part at the AAPI Inaugural Ball, a virtual event held the day before Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’ historic inauguration. The multi-talented artist, who calls her style “BollyHood,” has collaborated with the likes of Iggy Azalea, Tyga and Gwen Stefani. She went to Twitter to speak on her inauguration performance.

“So honored to be part of this historic moment! Thank you AAPI for inviting me to perform at the 2021 Inaugural Ball!”

New York rapper Ja Rule is big proud of Kamala Harris. The hip-hop veteran recently stepped forward to reveal why he’s most excited about Harris’ historic victory.

The rapper and father of a Hampton University graduate said, “You don’t even have to put ‘black’ in front of it. I think that’s a major accomplishment in itself . . . and she went to Howard, an HBCU [historically black colleges and universities]. Which I love. I know my daughter Brittney is even more happy . . . so lotta love in the air. That’s all we really want. That’s all we ask for this election. New York rapper Cardi B recently hit up her Instagram page and kept things a buck. The rap heavyweight shared recent footage of herself interviewing President-elect Joe Biden ahead of election day and singled out major media outlets and personalities for coming at her.
