New York rapper Bobby Shmurda has stepped forward to speak out on a recent arrest and fired some verbal shots at law enforcement.
Shmurda jumped onto his Instagram page to lash out at police following his bust. [EDITOR’S NOTE: The original Instagram page has been removed since publishing this article.]
“F*ck outta here, just came home from the bookings. Bum a** deceptive cops try to lock me up. N*ggas took my car, my credit card, everything, tried to take my jewelry, but it ain’t nothing. I make about 40 bands a week. Y’all n*ggas can never stop me! Can’t stop me. I missed the show today but I’ll make it up!” (Bobby Shmurda’s Instagram)

Details of the arrest popped up online Tuesday (October 7) morning.
The 20-year-old was busted for smoking a joint with two friends while double parked on a Brooklyn street … and Shmurda was hauled off to jail for the night. Sources close to the rapper tell us … Bobby believes neighborhood cops are out to get him — not because he’s black — because he’s a big music star and they want to see him fail. As we previously reported … Shmurda was busted in June on a felony gun charge … after he was caught brandishing a 9mm Glock. (TMZ)
Despite distinct similarities to the “Diddy Bop,” music mogul Puff Daddy recently applauded Shmurda’s dance over the summer.
Diddy tells TMZ his Diddy Bop came along well before Shmurda’s moves, but he’s not angry about it … not in the slightest. Diddy tells TMZ, “I’ve been Diddy Boppin’ since I was a kid in Harlem. It’s a pleasure seeing these young guns continuing the movement.” (TMZ)

Meanwhile, on the “Drake vs. Lil Wayne” tour, the “hot boy” himself Bobby Shmurda was brought on stage by Drizzy to perform his hit song, “Hot N*gga.” Shmurda has constantly been on top or in the top three on the Billboard Emerging Artists charts and last night he joined Drizzy to shut down the stage in New Jersey.
