Black Panther star Letitia Wright might need to have her own BET Hip Hop Awards Cypher next fall. New footage has emerged of Wright putting in some lyrical work during the filming of Marvel Studios’ latest blockbuster smash.

Wright and Black Panther co-star Lupita Nyong’o both hit up Instagram heading into the weekend with some must-see clips.

Last week, Lupita and Letitia both shocked social media by showing off their freestyle skills.

Recently, Top Dawg Entertainment’s Kendrick Lamar revealed his interest in playing a key role when Black Panther 2 goes into production.

In a new interview with BBC Radio 1 — following his fiery BRITs performance — host Clara Amfo asked Kendrick about the possibility of landing a cameo role in the next Black Panther flick. “Come on, I got to now!” the rapper responded, adding that he’d love to portray a multi-layered antagonist like Michael B. Jordan’s Erik Killmonger. “I really enjoy Killmonger’s character, just off the simple fact that he was a villain but he came with some real [talk]. … He was a villain but he was loved and misunderstood. So if I could, I’d play a Killmonger for sure.” (MTV)

After its first 96 hours, Black Panther turned into one of the biggest movie openings – ever.

Overall, Black Panther generated the fifth largest opening weekend of all-time (Friday-to-Sunday) behind Star Wars: The Force Awakens ($248M), Star Wars: The Last Jedi ($220M), Jurassic World ($208.8M), and The Avengers ($207.4M). That is amazing company. The much anticipated PG-13 super hero film was expected to be huge, but the results actually flew higher once movie fans had the chance to start coming out. The four-day average was a gargantuan $58,458 from 4,020 locations. (Rotten Tomatoes)
