The Black Eyed Peas‘ Peas’ Peapod Foundation have teamed with the Adobe and Entertainment Industry Foundation to launch two kids educational programs set to open in California later this year.

Kids and teenagers will be able to engage in film and music projects upon completion of the programs.

The partnership aims to help underserved youth access and learn to use multi-media production tools, including those for video, dance, music and art, to comment on critical issues and spark social change in their communities. Moving forward, the joint Adobe Youth Voices/Peapod Academy sites will incorporate high-tech curriculum developed by AYV with the latest multi-media production tools, recording studio tools and expertise and mentoring in the performing arts. Helping celebrate the partnership, a benefit concert took place last night (February 5) in Los Angeles.

The group rocked the new downtown club Thursday during their annual charity concert benefiting the Peapod Foundation, which provides music and arts education to children across the globe.
