Birdman’s $1,000,000 Miami Woe Exposed

Cash Money Records CEO Birdman reportedly has a million dollar problem on his head after having some major renovations made to his Miami mansion last year.

According to reports, a construction company has taken legal action against the music mogul.

The Zankey Construction Company, which is based in Florida, filed the lien in court on Nov. 4. The court documents state that Birdman failed to pay two invoices form all the work on his home. The first invoice was for the sum of $998,700.97 while the second invoice totaled $43,049.35. The grand total of unpaid work equals $1,041,750.32. (XXL Mag)

Earlier this year, Birdman talked about working with YMCMB affiliates Rich Homie Quan and Young Thug.

“I met Thug, flew him to L.A. to come see me and we connected from there, then Quan came to the table. I always believed in unity, that’s always been my thing. They were already working on a project, them two, and I said, ‘Let’s do it together. Let me take it to the next level for y’all, ’cause I see y’all got the potential and the talent.'” (MTV)

Over the summer, Quan said Birdman had provided his multi-decade advice and helped steer him in the right direction.

“I’m helping Birdman with the Rich Gang project,” said Rich Home Quan. Of his relationship with the Cash Money mogul he added, “Birdman is more like a big brother I never had. He gives me a lot of creative advice. A lot of wisdom. I just kick it with him every day, we just a family.” (XXL Mag)
