Cash Money boss Birdman isn’t losing any sleep over Rick Ross. The music executive has clapped back at disses shot his way from the Maybach Music Group leader.
In a new interview, Baby turned down an opportunity to feed into the sudden beef.
“I don’t get caught up in h*e sh*t, man. I just keep doing what I’m doing and keep pushing,” Birdman told Billboard. “I don’t get caught up in that, I don’t play like that. I’m a man and I stand my ground and I do my thing. Numbers don’t lie, and that’s all I give a f*ck about: numbers, and puttin’ them up.” (Billboard)
This week, footage surfaced of Ross leading a crowd with “Free Lil Wayne” chants.
Yesterday, Lil Wayne publicly reacted to Ross defending his anti-Birdman “Idols Become Rivals” diss song release.
Earlier in the day, Yung Renzel credited Wayne for inspiring his new audio gem.
