Cash Money Records affiliate Jacquees might have some legal smoke for a few Florida cops. The hip-hop newcomer has released a new video addressing law enforcement using excessive force in his South Beach arrest.
In a new clip, Jac reveals he has allowed his attorneys to consider whether or not legal action will take place.
“What’s up, this is Jacquees and I’m just letting all my fans and people who support me know that I am physically and mentally OK. The excessive force used during my arrest for not wearing my seatbelt was ridiculous however at this I have been advised not to speak on this situation and to allow my legal representatives to look at the situation and just handle it however they feel necessary. I love all my fans and make sure you wear your seatbelt.” (TMZ)

Yesterday, details surfaced surrounding his Miami bust.
When he refused to show his license, the officer told him to get out of the car — which he did, but he refused to walk with the officer to the sidewalk. Cops say Jacquees yelled, “Do not touch me.” By this time, a vocal crowd of Spring Break kids gathered and they were clearly pissed about the situation. As a result, the officer called for backup. In the video, you see Jacquees get cuffed, and the arresting officer yanks his arm pretty hard on the way to the cruiser. He was booked for failure to obey a lawful command, and for the seat belt infraction … both misdemeanors. (TMZ)
Footage from the crime scene almost immediately scattered online.
