Cash Money Records boss Birdman knows he did his protégé wrong and is making things right again. The hip-hop mogul pulled through at Saturday’s Weezyana Fest and openly apologized to Lil Wayne for their past legal disputes.

New footage has emerged of Birdman extending his hand and showing Wayne love at his fourth annual Louisiana festival.

“To be home, f*cking with my son. I love that n*gga to death. I don’t know what y’all know but I know what I know and I know I live by what I know. I knew this day was gonna come but I didn’t know when it was gonna come. But this n*gga right here, the realest n*gga, the illest n*gga and I wanted to apologize to my n*gga worldwide to let him know that, you heard me, that n*gga put his life in my hands and I’m gonna keep it real – we’re gonna do this sh*t until the day we die. YMCMB ’til death.”

Back in June, Cash Money’s Jacquees revealed Wayne is still on the label.

“I just talked to Stunna the other day, he told me Wayne Cash Money. He said everything good, he said ‘I’m gonna get you Wayne on a song.’ That’s what I heard. I talked to Mack [Maine] the other day. Yeah. I mean, Mack always hit me. We’ve always had a relationship since I came to Cash Money. He always gave me advice. He always told me throughout my career Wayne rocked with me. He’s with Cash Money.” (TRL)

Days prior, a report emerged about Wayne low-key securing a major payout from Birdman.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Wayne’s attorney, Howard King, filed a notice with the court on May 23 that all sides are ready to dismiss the lawsuit. Our sources say Universal wrote a big check to settle the suit and none of the money came from Birdman. As for the amount, we’re told it is “well over $10 million.” We are told that Universal was comfortable with the massive payment because they believe they will recoup the profits from Drake and Nicki Minaj going forward — a major part of what Wayne was suing over. Earlier this year, buzz developed about Wayne and his one-time Cash Money foe Birdman hanging out together in South Beach.

Last night, Lil Wayne attended Birdman‘s Before Anythang official album release party at Studio 23 venue in Miami, Florida. Once again while at the event, Weezy, Baby and Mack Maine took a couple of photos together, which you would think means there is no problems between them. (Lil Wayne HQ)
