G.O.O.D. Music‘s Big Sean might have platinum-selling plaques to his name but he’s set to soon touch uncharted territory. The Detroit native has announced plans to perform on “Saturday Night Live” for the first time later this month.
B.I. went to Instagram Tuesday and broke the news of a January 21 performance.
A few days ago, Sean announced his upcoming I Decided national tour dates.
Recently, BS revealed he turned his upcoming I Decided release into a conceptual album.
Big Sean has proven himself a master of the party-starting anthem since his 2009 debut Finally Famous. But for his fourth studio LP, Big Sean is aiming higher with a concept album inspired by the idea of rebirth. “That’s not something that people expect from a Big Sean project,” the rapper tells EW of I Decided., which he began recording in the Summer of 2015, “so I’m happy we are delivering something unexpected. I’m excited to push the culture and push my artistry to the limit.” (Entertainment Weekly)
Last month, Sean showed off his eagerness to release the highly-anticipated album.
