Based on one-day projections, the album was expected to sell no more than 150,000 copies.

Big Sean (Def Jam) 140-150k SPS, 120-130k sales.
Kid Rock (Warner Bros.) 125-130k SPS, 120-125k sales
Chris Brown & Tyga (RCA) 70-75k SPS, 50-55k sales (HITS Daily Double)

Within a recent FADER magazine interview, Sean downplayed the idea of basing his LP’s success on sales.

Do you think you can beat the Drake tape in sales? I don’t know about that. The most important thing about this album is that I’m proud of how it sounds. As a person, I’ve been growing up more and becoming better all around. I see the progression in myself—not just as an artist. I hope other people can see that, too. I feel like this is the album where, even people who may not be Big Sean fans, the tide might turn for them. (The FADER)

The new album comes fully stacked with collaborations from Drake, Kanye West and E-40.

1. “Dark Sky (Skyscrapers)”
2. “Blessings” (feat. Drake)
3. “All Your Fault” (feat. Kanye West)
