According to new reports, Sean’s LP will officially hit stores around mid-June.

Big Sean has been waiting years to release his first album, but he’ll have to wait a little longer. The Detroit rapper’s debut has been delayed to June. The 23-year-old MC’s G.O.O.D. Music debut Finally Famous is now scheduled to arrive on June 21. The project is led by the Chris Brown-assisted single “My Last,” and features contributions from No I.D., Mike Posner, Kanye West, and Pharrell, who appears on the triumphant “Donald Trump.” (Rap-Up)

Prior to the delay, Sean’s debut was set to drop in early May.

Looks like Big Sean’s anticipated album, Finally Famous, will be coming out on May 3rd, 2011 via G.O.O.D. Music/Def Jam. He also confirmed that Kanye, Mike Posner, and Pharrell will all make appearances. Another interesting note is that he mentions a mixtape should be dropping before the album, to make sure the buzz is right. (MOG News)

Earlier this month, Sean opened up about the album’s title and its significance.

“The title as of now is gonna be called Finally Famous,” Sean said in an interview. “I may at the last minute add a subtitle to it because that’s also the name of my mixtape series I did. That’s something I really wanna brand as a lifestyle because that’s what I believe in. When you’re famous you’re recognized for doing something, and I always put finally in front of it because I feel like this sh*t’s what we’ve been grinding and working for all these years, and that can relate to anybody. As far as production majority of it was done by No I.D. which I feel is not even fair because he’s just so d*mn good and he’s such an O.G. and he’s seen music come full circle. He really has a great perspective on music and is definitely one of my mentors.” (XXL Mag)

Outside of his own LP, Sean recently revealed his admiration and aim to collaborate with Brooklyn rapper Lil Kim.

“That’s a legend right there. She’s one of the greatest rappers of all time, straight up. Somebody told me that she said [she was a fan of my music], but that’s my first time actually hearing her really say that. It’s an honor. That just really goes to show me I’m just doing something right, through all the hate. Through all the people telling me, ‘Man, you’ll never do whatever, whatever, man,’ stuff like that keeps me going…Lil’ Kim’s a real G, man…She need to come holla at me. Hop on a track with another Big.” (MTV)

Finally Famous is currently slated to hit stores Tuesday, June 21st.
