While both are slated to land on the Top 50, neither will compete against R&B super star Beyonce’s new album.

Fresh off her triumph on closing night at Glastonbury, Columbia diva Beyonce’s 4 will debut at #1 next week on the HITS album chart with between 275-300k in first-week sales. SoCal rapper Big Sean’s Finally Famous: The Album, his feature-length debut after a series of critically acclaimed “Finally Famous” mixtapes, is the first release under Kanye West’s new deal for his G.O.O.D. Music label, through Island Def Jam Music Group, and should do in the 90-95 range. Warner Bros. hip-hopper Curren$y, the former New Orleans rapper once signed to Master P‘s No Limit label as part of the 504 Boyz, recently inked a deal with the Bunny for his Jet Life Recordings imprint. The latest release, Weekend at Burnie’s, his sixth studio album overall, is on target for 23-27k. (HITS Daily Double)

This week, Sean gave his Top 5 reasons fans should go out and support his long-awaited debut.

“One big reason people should go out and buy it is because it embodies the story of my life which entails a lot of the same issues young people go through. From having a dream to getting on to fall in and out of love. Majestic love. And really everything in between. This album embodies that. Characteristics of what people go through in life. This theme developed as I started to work on the album and you really get your whole life’s work on your first album. It just developed as I went. If I were to keep working on it, it would have kept developing.” (5 Reasons Why You Should Buy)

Earlier this month, Kanye West said Sean has the potential to become the Beyonce of hip-hop.

“Big Sean’s story is one of the most amazing ever because he literally got signed off of a freestyle, to now…having the potential to be one of the biggest artists in the world,” Ye said. “What Beyonce is to R-n-B…Big Sean can be to rap.” (YouTube)

For Curren$y’s record, the New Orleans rapper worked with a few different producers.

The album’s production comes mostly from Monsta Beatz, who supplies eight of the 12 tracks; other producers like Rahki, Havoc, Magnedo7, and Dirk Pate are also along for the ride. (All Hip Hop)
