According to Boi, Dre will be featured on three of his album’s records.

“It’s already done,” Boi said referring to new Andre 3000 collaborations. “We got three songs on the record, I ain’t played that yet, I got to save something to hold it. Dre actually produced a record and we got a record that was produced by Boi-1da and it’s me and Stacks, two verses a piece, back to back, just a lyrical manslaughter. Like, who better than the Kast n*gga? Nobody.” (DJ Delz TV)

Southern rapper Chamillionaire recently told SOHH about his interest in seeing Andre make a strong rap comeback.

“One person I really think should come back man is Andre 3000,” Cham told SOHH. “I don’t know if he’s going to but man, the game needs that dude man. For real. Musically, anything, features, I’d be happy with anything. He’ll do one feature every ten years. [laughs] Like d*mn man, he came out with that ‘Walk It Out’ remix and that was ill, he ripped it. And that was it, he kinda fell back again. That’s kinda what a lot of the OG’s are doing, Eminem is the same way.” (SOHH)

This week, Boi released a new single from his album called “Shutterbugg.”

More than ten months after resolving legal issues holding up his new solo album, Big Boi is finally sharing his new music. The rapper and occasional ballet producer is kicking off what appears to be the official promotion for his long-awaited Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son Of Chico Dusty with “Shutterbugg”, a futuristic slice of funk deliciousness produced by Scott Storch, who’s back on his game after a, uh, small rough patch. See if you can keep up with Big Boi as he rides the intricate beat, speaking up for Atlanta and proving that he hasn’t lost a step. (Idolator)

His album will drop under Def Jam Records later this year.

“It was a lot of behind the scenes, label politics,” Boi told hip-hop personality Gyant referring to his album delay. “A lot of people don’t know, we started at LaFace Records with LA Reid…as of maybe three weeks ago [Jive] gave me the opportunity to take the album elsewhere, I called my big brother LA Reid, he said meet me in Miami the next day. We flew to Miami, played him the music, he said let’s do it, deal is done..I’m not even concerned about nothing but me. People might say [Def Jam] doesn’t have any hot artists but he got the number one record with Ludacris‘ last week…my album is a musical nuclear bomb…The OutKast album, I can’t really say which label it’ll be on because I really don’t know which label it’s gonna fall. I’m gonna put my solo album out first, Dre is working with his solo album right now…” (Gyant Unplugged)
