A few days ago, Beyoncé’s upcoming “Lemonade” HBO special trailer premiered.
The new clip, released on Sunday night (April 17), quickly led to #Lemonade becoming a Twitter trend. “The past and the present merge to meet us here,” the trailer begins. Throughout the trailer, Beyonce’s voice is heard asking questions like “What are you hiding?”, “Why can’t you see me?” and “What am I doing, my love?” (Billboard)
The initial 20-second teaser surfaced online last weekend.
Here’s what we do know about Lemonade: It’s premiering on Saturday, April 23 at 9 p.m. ET on HBO (no confirmation yet on whether it will also be airing on HBO Canada).
