Grammy-winning singer Beyoncé is out here making power moves. The crooner went to social media this week to deliver new pics and bless fans with a sneak listen to her upcoming The Lion King movie soundtrack.

On Wednesday, Queen Bey opened eyes wide with an unexpected slideshow set.

Last night, Bey dropped the unexpected and immediately well-received new “Spirit” single.

Disney and Beyoncé fans got a surprise last night, ahead of the release of a live-action Lion King reboot, with the release of a new single from the film and pop star, called “Spirit.” The song comes from a new album, titled The Lion King: The Gift, that will accompany the film’s release next week and was announced just after the film’s world premiere last night. Grammy® Award–winning global superstar Beyoncé is the executive producer of The Lion King: The Gift album, a musical ode to the classic story of Disney’s “The Lion King” feature film.  Directed by Jon Favreau, the film includes the new original song, “Spirit,” performed by Beyoncé.  The Lion King: The Gift album is set for release on July 19. Bey stars in the new Lion King movie alongside a few major Hollywood superstars.

Beyoncé stars alongside Donald Glover, also known by his stage name Childish Gambino, as Simba. Other notable names include James Earl Jones, reprising his role as Mufasa; Seth Rogen as the warthog, Pumbaa; Billy Eichner as Timon the meerkat; John Oliver voicing Zazu the red-billed hornbill; and 12 Years a Slave‘s Chiwetel Eijiofor as Scar.
