Young Money's Nicki Minaj might want to consider putting her post-and-delete skills to work. New buzz and speculation has generated following Onika's decision to flame TV network BET over its recent awards show ratings.

Despite adding her two cents about the show’s alleged low viewership, a new report claims the 2019 BET Awards brought in over 12 million viewers.

Music News Facts tweeted the stats that caught Minaj’s attention, highlighting the cumulative TV viewers who have previously watched the BET Awards, dating back to 2006. According to the screenshot, only 2 million viewers checked out this year’s festivities, making it an all-time low for the network. Though BET hasn’t yet offered a response to Minaj’s tweet, in a press release sent to Billboard, BET says this year’s awards show netted 12.7 million total viewers across eight Viacom networks. Yesterday, Nicki hit up Twitter to call out the network over its 2019 BET Awards show ratings.

Earlier this year, Nicki called out BET over a social media spat involving her rap rival Cardi B.

BET referenced the Queen rapper while congratulating Cardi B — with whom Minaj infamously brawled during New York Fashion Week last fall — for becoming the first solo woman to ever win best rap album at the 2019 Grammy Awards in a post that read: “Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj is being dragged by her lacefront.” Minaj swiftly responded by cancelling her BET commitments. “Young Money will no longer be apart of the BET Experience or award show,” she Tweeted with hearts and a praying hand emoji. “Summer Tour dates dropping soon.” (People)

Coincidentally, Cardi B dominated the 2019 BET Awards with an Album of the Year win and headline-generating performance.
