“All of the songs were recorded already and they were full songs. No one was like, ‘You need features.’ I wanted it to just be this full body of work. Because there was a point in time when I felt like, ‘I don’t need features – it’ll be tight with just me.’ But then it’s like the element of collaborating with people and coming together, is just like, we need more of that. … So anyway I did the song.
