After a heated Twitter debate began between Royce Da 5'9 and an account claiming to belong to Benzino, Royce explains why he believes the Boston rapper might be lying in an attempt to save face.
Royce said that people should take Benzino claiming fraud as a cop-out.
I don’t believe him. I don’t understand why people hold [others] to such a high standard, like people can’t tell a lie. Would you admit that it was you if you got fried like that? If you got fried the way me and my timeline fried him would you ever take accountability for that being your [Twitter] account? (SOHH)
The Slaughterhouse member went on to clarify that he has no real issue with Benzino.
Let me just clarify that were not beefin’. I’ve been in real beefs in my life and Benzino is no where near anything close to that. He hasn’t done anything to make me feel threatened, and I don’t respect him enough for it to be anything other than some words on Twitter. (SOHH)
Zino said despite the speculation, he has no association with the Twitter account Royce feuded with last week.
“Sh*t is crazy, man,” Zino told SOHH. “You know what’s so messed up? Honestly, like I’m not really a Twitter [person]. Like I’d rather say it to someone’s face or the next best thing — do an interview so they know its coming from me, but definitely, [the Twitter account] @King_Benzino ain’t me. I never had no Twitter and never will. I’m from the old school — I don’t put too much real estate in Twitter, man. ‘Cause at the end of the day, it’s just some sh*t that doesn’t exist, man. It’s like The Matrix.” (SOHH)
Royce’s exchange with the fake Zino took place on August 19.
“Blah Blah Blah @King_Benzino get over urself ur arrogance is offensive.. We will NEVER do a song 2gether.. EVER.. I don’t like you.. At all.,” he tweeted August 19th.
