Has Beats Music come to an end already? With Spotify and iTunes pretty popular, was there ever a lane for Beats Music? Word around the Internet is Apple is ready to pull the plug on Beats Music. Yahoo News is on it:

Apple has never spent big on high profile acquisitions, but the company does have a history, as the New York Times points out, of buying companies for talent and then folding their product into existing Apple services. After buying transportation apps HopStop and Embark, Apple put their employees on Apple maps. After buying another music service, Lala, Apple shut it down and put its employees under iTunes. “I think they may very well wind down beats music, which… had a pretty small subscriber base. Merge it into iTunes, or reinvent iTunes with beats in some fashion,” Task said. (Yahoo News)

2. Take That

Did the murder investigation of 2Pac come to an with Diddy being arrested? That’s what it seemed like across the ‘net this week. But that sounds a bit too extreme, no? RumorFix is on it:

Last week, a satire news website reported the gossip, claiming, “Sources close to Sean “Puffy” Combs have confirmed that Mr. Combs was arrested this morning in connection with the 1996 shooting of Tupac Shakur in Las Vegas, NV. This news comes just two days before the 18th anniversary of Shakur’s death.”

The website quotes an alleged press release by a spokesperson for Las Vegas DA’s office, who says authorities obtained sufficient evidence to make an arrest of Sean Combs.

The the report is simply a hoax. Diddy has tweeted several times since the false claim came out, and there is no Twitter in prison. (RumorFix)

We’re told he ordered 100 bottles of Moët Nectar Impérial Rosé (club price: $350 each) and a massive Moët & Chandon Nectar Impérial Rosé Leopard Luxury Edition 6-Litre Methuselah Bottle (club price: $20,000).
