Cash Money Records boss Birdman is making headlines this week after storming out of an interview with New York radio station Power 105.1’s “The Breakfast Club” show.

Birdman ripped hosts Charlamagne Tha God, DJ Envy and Angela Yee for disrespecting his name.

“I wanna start this sh*t off straight, telling all three of y’all stop playing with my name! Stop playing with my name. I ain’t gonna say it no more. N*gga, when my name come up, respect it. Stop playing with my f*cking name! All three of y’all. Stop playing with my name. I ain’t gonna say it no more. I said it already, I ain’t gonna say it no more. I said it already – I’m here, what’s happening? … I knew a few places you [Charlamagne Tha God] were at and could have pulled up. That was gangster. I wanted to come look on your face like a man and tell you how I feel. Straight up like a man. Ain’t no issue – just put some respect on my name. You understand me? … Y’all finished or y’all done? I ain’t got no more talking. Let’s rock.” (“The Breakfast Club”)

A few days ago, Birdman announced plans to put out a Cash Money biopic.

“Can I tell you something my brother told me? He said everything we’ve ever did – and I got 20 plus years selling records – nothing we ever did is worth more than that script. I’m excited about the script. That’s something I really want to do,” Baby said. “This is gold. There’s a lot of things that people don’t know that we went through, things that happened behind the scenes of the company, things that happened before we were with Universal. So we got a lot of stories, but the way I’m putting it together is gonna be great.” (XXL Mag)
