New York hip-hop artist Azealia Banks is having second thoughts on her headline-generating drama with movie star Russell Crowe.

Despite sticking to her claim of being assaulted by him, Banks said she is falling back on pressing charges.

Though she wants others to hear her story, Banks is no longer planning on pressing charges against Crowe. “Realistically, to be honest, I really don’t want to. Because I just don’t want this in the media. I want my music out. I just want to f–king put my music out,” the controversial recording artist explains. “I just want my music to shine. I don’t want to be dealing with another episode, another thing, another whatever.” (Us Weekly)

Yesterday (October 20), rap veteran RZA issued a statement on what allegedly went down between Banks and Crowe.

In a new interview, Banks recalled her horrific experience and how she became a victim at Crowe’s recent Los Angeles hotel party.

Now Azealia, 25, has told The Sun of 52-year-old Aussie Russell: “I think he’s a racist, misogynist pig. “This is a stain on me. My femininity feels stained. I feel stained as a woman, I feel mishandled, I feel mistreated, I feel dirty. I feel very f***ing low.” Azealia said: “Russell had moonshine on the table, and then Russell calls for whisky, so then they just start mixing them up. (The Sun)

Reports this week revealed Banks had sought out law enforcement’s help in the Crowe altercation’s aftermath.

The Russell Crowe-Azealia Banks feud is now in the hands of police after the rapper filed a battery report over their fight in his hotel suite. Sources connected to the case tell us … Azealia went to Bev Hills PD Sunday afternoon after demanding Russell apologize for the incident, where he physically removed her from the room. We’re told Crowe’s reps said he wouldn’t say sorry, because he insists he did nothing wrong. (TMZ)
